On my way west on I-10 through Louisiana I came across some rather strange things you don't typically see on the road. The first was the
Tiger Truck Stop which had a sign pointing to it on the highway. Sure enough there was a real live tiger in a cage next to the truck stop. What added to the humor was the fact the truck stop had a little casino inside it as well, but there are small casinos all over Louisiana so that isn't really anything surprising. It looks like there is a campaign to keep Tony the tiger there since some animal rights activists don't want him there. I think I kinda agree with the animal rights people though, seems kinda cruel to keep a tiger on display at a truck stop.
