TONY received major support this week when Leonardo DiCaprio “tweeted” for him and posted about Tony on his Facebook page which has over 1.5 million members. The Facebook post now has over 600 comments and 3500 plus likes!
The Animal Legal Defense Fund also posted an update for Tony about Mr. DiCaprio’s support and announced the May 5, 2011 hearing against The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries in East Baton Rouge District Court over the legality of the permit issued which allows Tony to be kept as a roadside attraction at Tiger Truck Stop in Grosse Tete Louisiana as well as the inhumane and detrimental conditions Tony is subjected to. http://www.aldf.org/article.php?id=1695
